Too religious. Very uncomfortable.
Wilson House is no longer the spiritual place for those in recovery to come and pay their respects to the man that saved their lives. The principles of AA are no longer practiced as the management are no longer people in recovery. The Board of Directors since the wife of the founder of the house left are more concerned about business and not about people. For the last 8 years I have been a volunteer, a visiter, and have donated money. Today I do none of those things and would recommend you not waste your money visiting.
A great stop on your way through Vermont with history everywhere. Lots of seminars and events to attend. Dinners are reasonably priced on Friday's.
Another great weekend at Wilson house...make it here at least once a year. it's changed over the years and will continue to change and grow
Go spend the afternoon. Great dinner, but call ahead to make sure there aren't any seminars happening. Super spiritual place.
